The monthly Argenta Art Walk was a big success Friday night. Many of the artists were on display inside First Presbyterian Chuch as shown above. Barry Brandt with Channel 7 News even broadcast the 5:00 pm weather forecast from inside the church highlighting Argenta and the Artwalk.
There were artists on display at several businesses along Main Street as well, including the Baler House, Pennington Studius, HDMS, Strarving Artists Cafe and Argenta Art Company. There were many people in attendance at the Argenta Art Company (AAC) sneak preview and the following picture is from inside the AAC.
After the Art Walk was over at 8:00 pm there was not a seat to be had inside Starving Artists Cafe or Ristorante Capeo and most of those seats were filled by people who had come down to Argenta for the Art Walk. That is waht we call synergy.
Congrats! Written by dcrazorback, on 22-11-2008 22:10 Congratulations to the new Argenta Art Company - a great addition to Argenta! It was nice to see some new artists and many art patrons out on such a cold night, supporting the arts and Argenta's newest gallery. Way to go Ellie! |
