Twin City Bank recently purchased the lot and building at 312 Magnolia in Argenta in downtown North lLttle Rock behind their "temporary" location on the corner of Broadway and Magnolia Streets across from Alltel.  Twin City Bank was committed to be an anchor tenant to the mixed use development in the 600 block of Main Street until that development plan fell apart earlier in the year.  The lot is shown above and the bank is already proceeding with demolition of the building on the lot.

Although buying this lot does not mean Twin City Bank is giving up on Main Street altogether, this purchase certainly does give them a fall back position on Broadway.  Twin City Bank would be the perfect anchor on the corner of 7th & Main Streets and they would bring much needed foot traffic to the north end of Main Street in Argenta.  Let's hope we don't lose Twin City Bank to Broadway.
