Michael's smooth R&B, Soul, and contemporary covers and originals are highly sought after regionally, and his incredible sounds will make this a night to remember.

Ludwik "Koz" Kozlowski
A retired medical doctor originally from Poland, Koz has paintings in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad in Europe. He considers Arkansas' own very famous artist V.L. Cox his mentor, who by the way purchased some of his art. Because of her encouragement, painting eventually became his passion. You may find Koz doing demos in our cafe during lunch on Thursdays. His miniatures are popular and prices are affordable.

Jim Jolly interesting, thought-provoking, and ironic paintings are quickly becoming some of our most highly sought after pieces. This will be Jim's debut as one of our artists demonstrating.

This Friday: Argenta Art Walk

Visit beautiful Historic Downtown Argenta this Friday for the monthly Argenta Art Walk and then have dinner while surrounded by incredible art at Starving Artist Cafe'.

The Argenta 3rd Friday Art Walk, featuring Art in Unexpected Places, is from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21. The Argenta Art Walk is a monthly art event held regularly on the 3rd Friday night of each month.

The Argenta 3rd Friday Art Walk is sponsored by the Main Street Argenta, the Argenta 3rd Friday Art Walk Committee, and the City of North Little Rock. Major works of art will be displayed, featuring works of art of prominent juried Central Arkansas artists, with opportunities to meet artists and purchase their work.

A distinctive feature of The Argenta 3rd Friday Art Walk is that art will be displayed in conventional venues as well as venues tucked away into unexpected places in the historic downtown area. Art exhibits and artists can be found in the Argenta Art Studios (working artist studios) located inside the First Presbyterian Church one block off Main at 4th and Maple.

Book Your Party Now! Private Party Space Available Sunday-Thursday

Office Party? Family Party? Holiday Party? Birthday, Anniversary, Reunion? We have the perfect space! Our incredible new space in Argenta is available Sunday through Thursday for private parties for up to 100, either sit-down dinner or cocktails and hors deouvres. Make this year's party one that will be talked about for years!

Have a smaller group? Reserve a table up to 50 people and get half our room.There's no rental fee, and you'll get either the whole patio or a section of the dining room all to yourself. We'll can even create a special menu for you.

We also cater off-site 7 days a week, so if you are looking for anything from trays dropped off to full- service events, just give us a call. We are filling up for December, so be sure to call us and ask for Paula. We look forward to serving you!

Argenta Scratch-Off Cards

The Argenta Downtown Council (ADC) is sponsoring the "Argenta Scratch Off Card" restaurant promotion. Unlike the instant lottery in other states, everyone wins. Prizes range from free desserts, free appetizers, $5.00 off entrees, free child's meal with adult meal and 20% off your tab. Participating Argenta restaurants include: Argenta Seafood, Cornerstone, Starving Artist Cafe, Benihana, Ristorante Capeo, Valentines Restaurant, MacDaddy's, Renos Argenta Cafe and Margos Catfish Diner.

Cards can be obtained from Argenta merchants, ADC Ambassadors, Chamber of Commerce, trolley drivers and other outlets around town. This promotion is available to all including Argenta residents and runs through December 30, 2008

Here is how the promotion works:

o Each scratch off card has six scratch off boxes that cover six of 11 randomized prize numbers.

o EVERY BOX on every card has a winning prize number in it.

o The numbers match the prizes offered by participating restaurants.

o The prizes are written on the back of each card.

o Every card wins, so "Everybody Wins in Argenta"
