This is Whitney Waggoner, Argenta resident, Cregeens waitress and entrepeneur. Whitney owns her own business, Hula Senations, making custom hula hoops and Whitney was featured in this week's Sync magazine Check out the story by clicking here .

I’ve given away about 10 hoops to the children in the neighborhood.
They would see me out in the yard hula hooping and want their own. We
just get out together now and hoop it up. (Her hoops sell for $20 for
a regular hoop and $25 for a collapsible hoop. Contact information is

I am glad that this picture expresses what a HUGE dork that I am.
Thank you to everyone for such an overwhelming amount of support. I would like to eventually have a "Hoop Day" for everyone in the neighborhood that has purchased a hoop or ANYONE that would like to give it a whirl!
THIS NEIGHBORHOOD ROCKS!!! I feel so blessed to live in a place with such a strong community. |

I used to be a dork, now I hope I am well on my way to being eccentric. Dork is just the young version of eccentric. I will bring my daughter by soon to learn to hula hoop from you and purchase a hoop of her choice. Just don't try and get me to Hoop!! |
