Eric already did a post on this, but I thought you might enjoy some action shots. This is the truck that caught on fire Thursday in the 400 block of Willow Street. The truck owner was reportedly working on the truck and went to start the truck up when it caught on fire.
I guess the flame decals on the side of the truck were not enough.
Then here is one of NLRFD's finest putting out the fire. Sorry the fireman was just out of frame, but you can see the water spray.

This might be a good example to talk about our great fire and police departments. I heard that, for a city this size, They are so well staffed, trained and equipped that the city has earned an excellent rating for home insurance. |
