The Arkansas Blog at www.arktimes.com is reporting that the Little Rock Police Department is among those receiving a share of nearly $20 million in Community Orienting Policing Services grants from the federal Department of Justice. Little Rock gets $525,000 and that'll reportedly hire seven cops. So, any City Council members want to discuss why North Little Rock -- which is nowhere near its full capacity of police officers -- didn't get some of this grant funding?
