There are not many empty lots in Argenta (probably less than six) and rarely does any lot come on the market.  This lot at 220 W 6th Street is for sale.  The lot is located in the Historic District, 1/2 block from a trolley stop and 1 1/2 blocks from Main Street.  The lot is 50 feet wide and 140 feet deep with rear alley access.  The lot is for sale by the owner for $70,000. 

The last lot in Argenta was sold over a year ago for somewhere between 40 and 50 thousand dollars, I beilieve. I have spoken with the owner and he will entertain offers.  So if you want a lot in Argenta to build a home call 952-4207 and make a reasonable offer.  Another lot in Argenta may not come available for several years.
