 This house at 400 West 5th Street sold recently in a matter of days, with no yard sign or other notice of the house being for sale. Unless you want a fixer upper, this is getting to be the way to buy houses here in Argenta. This is a beatifully restored house on a prime Argenta corner. Based on the information supplied to me, this house sale price was $175,000 at about $90 per sq. ft.
Reportedly, the buyer loves baseball and bought the house to live close to Dickey-Stephens Park. I know others who bought here in Argenta to be close the River Trail for biking, or bought to be close to the Main Street scene or just because they enjoy living downtown
