In case you have been living under a rock the last 24 hours, a Tulsa coach was killed last night at Dickey-Stephens from a foul ball that hit him in the head batted by one of the Tulsa players.  This is a very sad case and possibly the first death in baseball since the 1920's.  Ths coach left behind two small kids and a wife pregnant with their third child.

The Traveler game was postponed tonight by unamimous vote of the players and the game will be made up in August.  A memorial fund has been established for the coach's family and the Traveler's will take up donations at the gates at tomorrow night's game. I hope as many Argenta residents as possible go down to Dickey-Stephens before the game at 7:10 pm  tomorrow and make a donation.  I do not have tickets but I will be walking down to Dickey-Stephens to contribute and help out this young family.
