No we don't yet have a car traffic problem in Argenta.  But if we did, I would seriously have to consider adding sound to this site, so I could do the WKRP Less Nessman thing of beating on my chest to make helicopter sounds while giving  the traffic report.  I always thought that was hilarious.  Does this date me?

Web site traffic.  I have learned a lot about web site traffic since converting over to the new software.  Apparenlty counting web site traffic is a lot like counting votes in a presidential election...everybody does it differently. Unique visitors is a very fuzzy number, depending on how you define unique and whether you count bots.  Bottom line is I can't really compare the old traffic numbers I gave with the old software to the new, so we will have start over with June as the new base line.  

In June, we had over 33,000 page views (I have been told this is the most reliable and comparable stat to use).  From my software geek friends, I am told this is an amazing number for a local neighborhood site.  What that means is that if you have an ad or some other thing listed here it will be seen over 33,000 times in a month by people interested in Argenta. Thank you....keep reading and commenting.  We all make Argenta great.
