The trolley will not being running on the 4th of July.  I understand not running on Christmas or New Years Day.  But not running on the 4th with tens of thousands of visitors comming to the Riverfront to  watch fireworks and an anticipated crowd of over 7000 to watch the Travelers at Dickey-Stephens ballpark, seems a little short sighted.  Central Arkansas Transit is probably missing out on hundreds of potential riders and their revenue .  Perhaps CAT should consider running an abbreviated trolley schedule in future years from noon to 11:00 pm on July 4th to shuttle all the visitors to the Traveler's games and to the fireworks.
