So call the Democratric Party at 374-2361 and get your free tickets now! This is your chance to see and hear the Senator who may be our next President.

A Plea! Written by amydancingfish, on 21-06-2007 20:14 All I would like to say is that I really hope Argenta residents come out and support this event. I personally lobbyed to hold it in downtown NLR so that people from all over the state (and all over the country) get to check out this area of town and see how much potential we have. There is a Young Democrats event tomorrow evening at the Salty Parrot (it starts at 5:30.) There are 40 tickets left to please call 374-2361 asap and reserve your ticket with Gary Moody. Please, please, please come to our event Saturday and spread the word about what a great neighborhood Argenta is to live in! |
Politics Written by bobthepainter, on 23-06-2007 14:38 Experience has taught me that diehard Democrats believe all their neighbors think as they and the rare person who is of a different opinion is worhty of permanent obscurity. This effectively kills any possible discussion of real merit. The conversation always devolves into personal and hateful attack. So the conservative voice is effectively silenced as who wants to be hated by his neighbor because he believes government should be limited. It is too bad that the political landscape of our country is so poisoned. I am one Republican who will give this event a pass. Still, I would pass on a Republican rally. It seems that a politician nowdays seeks power and money and will say and do most anything to aquire these things over citizenship and service. |
